Big spiky chocolate-coloured plant

I have some very lovely neighbours.
I have some very lovely neighbours. Barbara from two doors down has taken my front garden under her wing, which is wonderful, as I am to gardening what King Herod was to babysitting. This big spiky chocolate-coloured plant used to be in Connie’s (another neighbour) front garden, but it was attacking a more tender and fragile plant there with its long sword-like leaves. It was suggested that I could have the BSCCP for a space in my lawn, and I was all for it. So: while I was out yesterday Barbara and her husband Paul had the unenviable task of uprooting the BSCCP and bringing it up the road. I hear that digging it up wasn’t easy.
The BSCCP resplendent in its new position
So: I want to thank Connie, Paul, and especially Barbara, for looking after me, and being such nice neighbours. I promise to look after the BSCCP, and keep things tidy!
